Installation notes:
The help file is for 1999.03.08 through 1999.06.23 only. Later versions include the new help file.
Directions:
Each file contains a self-extractor that is used to create the program disks from Windows Explorer. Each file requires a single floppy disk (4 total). Note: Do not download or copy these files directly to a floppy disk. Download these files to an empty folder on your hard drive and follow the instructions below:
- Take 4 blank 3.5" 1.44 Mbyte formatted floppy disks and number them 1 through 4.
- Create a new folder on your hard disk from Windows Explorer.
- Download the files numbered suite 1 through suite 4 using the links below to the new folder just created.
- Place the disk labeled #1 in your floppy disk drive.
- From Windows Explorer, open the new folder that contains the files numbered help_1 through help_4.
- Double click on the file "help_1.exe". This will launch a self-extractor and create disk #1.
- Next, insert disk #2 and double-click on the file "help_2.exe".
- Repeat this process for disks 3 and 4.
To update the help file from floppy disk:
- Insert the Setup disk (Disk 1) in drive A or B.
- Click the Start button, click Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
- On the Install/Uninstall tab, click the Install button.
- Follow the Setup instructions on the screen.
If you wish to install the EEG Suite from your hard drive, do not insert a floppy disk in your A: drive and you will be asked for an alternate destination (e.g., a folder on your hard disk or network drive). Once you've extracted the 4 download files, double-click on the help setup file called Setup.exe to install the new help file.
